γ-氨基丁酸到底是什么?


GABA是γ-氨基丁酸的简称,它是存在人类大脑中的一种非蛋白氨基酸,是神经系统中重要的抑制性神经递质,约30%的中枢神经突触部位以GABA为递质。


γ-氨基丁酸广泛存在于自然界的动物脑中以及天然植物中的非蛋白合成氨基酸;随着营养的缺失、不均衡或者年龄的增长,人体内的GABA会持续减少。

γ-氨基丁酸,“百忧解”,“情绪维他命”


当人体内GABA缺乏时,会产生焦虑、不安、疲倦、忧虑等情绪。一般长久处于高压力族群、身处竞争环境中的人群等,都很容易缺乏GABA,需要及时补充以便舒缓情绪。这部分人群包括初中、高中的学生们及工作人群。


失眠的原因是由于脑部GABA让神经元系统功能低下,应激中枢系统的下丘脑-垂体-肾上腺轴功能亢进,褪黑素分泌水平下降及细胞因子等分泌失调造成的。
